Easy Trip

What's New in Windows Easy Trip Version 2.3

DEFAULT ROUTING

The Default Routing is a new category in Reservation Routing. When a user selects the Default Routing category, they are presented with a list of phrases or messages that were previously entered.

Each default routing phrase can be a maximum of 60 characters in length. Examples of default routing phrases or predefined messages would be:

Add a baby seat
Credit Card on is File
International pick up, wait for Client by customs
Pick up the client at the curb side only

Users can define these phrases from Options, Group Types, Default Routing.

FARM IN / FARM OUT

The Accounts Receivables and Payables for Farm In/Farm Out have been separated. You can now view information for AR and AP independently. The original Statement section is still available if you need to see everything together.

FARM IN / FARM OUT PAY ALL

A new Pay All feature has been added to the Accounts Receivables and Payables for Farm In/Farm Out. If Pay All is selected then ET will automatically pay from the oldest entry to the newest entry, until all funds have been used. This is the same type of feature that has been available in the Accounts Receivables of Easy Trip.

HISTORY TRACKING

Each time a Reservation is Edited, the basic Reservation information is saved in a History Log file. History information can be used to track the changes that have occurred for any given Reservation.

A new entry is also made in the History log when an existing Reservation is Cancelled or UnCancelled. The Reservation History information can be viewed or printed anytime.

From the Windows version highlight the desired Reservation from the Reservation Search screen and then click on the Options button. Next, select History option.

Reservation Information Saved in the History Log

  Reservation #
  Reservation Run Date
  Pick Up Time
  Drop Off Time
  Vehicle Type

User who made the Reservation Changes
Date and Time User made Reservation Changes

ALPHA / NUMERIC PAGING

A new option has been added to Send or Transmit a Page directly from Easy Trip.

To send a page select Options, Paging, and then highlight the Driver you want to page. Next click the Send Page button. Fill in the Alpha or the Numeric message as needed and click the Send button. Easy Trip will use the modem to transfer the page.

The pager phone numbers can be edited from the Driver module or the Pager module. The "Access Phone #" is only used for Alpha paging only. It must be provided by your paging company, along with a "PIN" number. For Numeric paging, enter the pager phone number under "PIN/Pager Number #".
